Hand Crafting Process

Walnut glued stock for the lamp
turnings

Glued stock for the lamp bases.
On the table are the skirting
pieces for the bases

Smoothing the bandsaw cuts
on the bottom of the skirting

We machine a groove in each
half of the glued stock. Then place a
pipe in the middle and glue both
halves together

As soon as the turning stock is dry,
the clamps come off and they are ready
to turn in the lathe

Lamp bases all sanded and assembled
